RT @ipngovpl_eng: #OTD 🗓 in 1940 Edmund #Wojciechowski, a lawyer and son of President Stanisław Wojciechowski, was arrested by the #Gestapo because he refused to remove Jewish lawyers from the Warsaw Bar. He was sent to #KLAuschwitz in August 1940 where he died on 23 February 1941.
