FM Szijjártó emphasized the ongoing precarious situation in the Middle East, particularly in areas experiencing near-war conditions. ❗️The Hungarian government's top priority remains the safety of its citizens, and they reached out to hundreds of individuals seeking assistance. During the operation, two Hungarian Air Force planes initially evacuated 215 people, and a third plane made an additional trip to Tel Aviv to rescue another 110 individuals. In total, the Hungarian Air Force deployed three planes for the rescue mission. Szijjártó confirmed that all Hungarian citizens seeking assistance were either safely back in Hungary or en route. Among the evacuees, there were 310 Hungarian citizens and 15 foreign nationals from countries such as 🇮🇱Israel, 🇸🇪Sweden, 🇩🇪Germany, 🇬🇧UK, 🇦🇹Austria, and 🇵🇹Portugal, including 46 children. ❗️The foreign minister urged Hungarian citizens to postpone their trips to Israel unless absolutely necessary for their safety. He encouraged those traveling to Israel to register for consular protection. Additionally, he expressed Hungary's solidarity with Israel, condemned the terrorist attacks in Israel, and called on the international community to act responsibly and avoid escalating the situation.
