Thousands of people have signed a petition in Ukraine to bring back the historical name Muscovy to refer to today's Russia.
Since Kyiv Rus was the common ancestor of both countries, it would clarify matters.
And, since Kyiv predates Moscow, vindicate a case of stolen identity.
