@l_oc81 @Paulinegils @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I made the point that we ALL need to be willing to travel, including those who live in eastern, urban areas.

We also need to invest in public transport to ensure connectivity.

It can't be a burden carried solely by rural communities: that wouldn't be right or fair.

@TeddyBe59988120 @aturservice3 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I sat in ED for 5 hours to be seen when I had pneumonia last month.

Trust me, I join the queue like everyone else, and rightly so.

Priority should be based on urgency, and nothing else.

@Zacpenny21 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I completely agree. The SWAH, for example, has a key role in delivery and those of us in eastern, urban areas need to be willing to travel, too.

We also, as I said in the interview, need to engage @Translink_NI in this reform process to ensure there is connectivity to services.

@SamuelMcAllistr @TheGnomeofDoom_ @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 Aye. Sure what would @DannyDonnelly1 know about healthcare. I mean, he's only a nurse...🙄

@birugbydan @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 We're talking about routine appointments, not emergency services.

I also said involving public transport providers was key to ensure accessibility.

And, yes, it means people in urban areas having to be willing to travel too.

RT @allianceparty: We can either have a notional health service where people can't access it or we can do the reform so that we have a national health service, that truly delivers for people.

@RainbowBoi143 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 It's not privatisation: the public service ethos is retained in a mutual, unlike in privatisation where shareholders are the focus.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/naomi_long/st

@dcatlover4 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 I also said that @Translink_NI need to be fully engaged in health reform to ensure people can access services.

Currently, people have proximity to provision, but not timely access due to waiting lists.

Reform may mean some services being further away, but actually timely.

@ginkel1691 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 No. I specifically oppose privatisation.

We support mutualising NIW.

@phillip82510147 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 You sure you want to insult people based on appearance?

@RussellJAdams81 @BelfastGonzo @bbctheview @DannyDonnelly1 @MarkCarruthers7 They aren't my plans: they were developed by experts in healthcare.

I said in the interview @Translink_NI need to be involved in reform to ensure people can access services.

The alternative is that we 'pretend' there's a service nearby, but the wait means you never receive it.

@Carolin55162028 @bbctheview @MarkCarruthers7 Not so.

Firstly, I specifically raised the need for @Translink_NI to be at the table when reform is discussed, to ensure services are accessible.

Secondly, I am willing to travel outside Belfast if that's where the specialist centre for any condition is.

@RoisinAMac @allianceparty No, I'm talking about education that is sustainable and integrated.

RT @RossScottManley: Got this in the post today and it seems @naomi_long may have known I like autographs and she’s signed it in pen so I think I will put it in my collection why not sure. Would be a cool idea for them all to sign them. Wonder did she do that for me. Haven’t seen many signed like it t.co/8GAWE51Rpf

@timmymovenis @allianceparty @ChrisMcCawNI And unionist councillors would never collectively smear anyone ahead of the elections...oh wait...
