In #Somalia more than 4 millions are food insecure. The war in Ukraine has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis with the surge in food prices. The UN-brokered deal on grain export must be respected. And the Somalia Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) must be fully funded.

I visited the internally displaced people camp of Daryeel Shabello in #Baidoa where close to 1 million people left their homes because of drought & conflict. @RESCUEorg is providing nutrition, water, latrines and vaccines. More funding is needed now for #Somalia to avert famine.
