❌ @europarl_en is debating yet another attempt to replace the current European Electoral Act with a system of transnational voting lists.
It's a step too far, undermining the unique electoral dynamics of each Member State.
The EU is 27 cultures; 27 economies; 27 nation states.
The #CoFoE conclusions are biased & have been manipulated by self-proclaimed "pro-European" political families in the @europarl_en.
We will call for an independent opinion polling exercise to be conducted in each EU Member State to provide objective evidence of Europeans' views.
We recognise the need to reform the #EU based on Eurorealism, openness, accountability & democracy. We respect the sovereignty of nations & concentrate on economic recovery, growth and competitiveness.
