Ales Bialiatski, laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize-2022, sentenced to 10 years in prison, was recently placed into solitary confinement in prison. Andrzej Poczobut, a journalist and activist of the Polish minority in Belarus, was unjustly sentenced to 8 years in a maximum-security penal colony this year.

The situation of political prisoners in Belarus, illegally imprisoned by the Lukashenko regime, is appalling and is constantly deteriorating.
