#GlobalGateway is a prime example. It is no longer enough to make a verbal case for our liberal-democratic model.
The #EU needs to practically demonstrate to other countries that we can make better #infrastructure offers in a transparent way, at eye level, and without debt traps

Regardless of the issue at stake, the #ampelregierung has moved late & only under pressure. Germany's reputation in the EU is suffering as a result. @OlafScholz has to keep doing what he is least comfortable with: explaining himself & his policies.

Chancellor @OlafScholz is addressing the @europarl_en for the first time this morning. It is a chance to clear up misunderstandings that have resulted from an #ampelregierung that is preoccupied with itself & a Chancellor who has shown little commitment to the European Idea.
