Jag blev förbannad - om än inte förvånad - när jag i lördags fick vetskap om att Aminis familj stoppats från att resa från Iran. De har sina visum och de har följt alla regler, men regimen stoppar dem ändå.
Därför har jag samlat stöd från mina kollegor i Europaparlamentet och nu är vi 117 europaparlamentariker som idag protesterar mot Irans beslut med detta öppna brev ⬇️

Förra veckan blev statsministern avbruten av demonstranter förra veckan när han talade i Göteborg - bu-rop(!) när han fördömde terrororganisationen Hamas.
Idag avbröts ett samtal om mänskliga rättigheter i Europaparlamentet när demonstranter skrek och avbröt talmannen.
Det är okej att tycka olika om konflikten i Mellanöstern. Det är på intet vis okej att störa demokratiska samtal, att skrika och bua när andra pratar.
