RT @JimAllister: Reacting to John Larkin KC’s finding that Article Six of the Acts of Union has not been restored by the Windsor Framework.

@latikambourke @CeeMacBee That last paragraph says it all. The Protocol was never necessary. We have it because Johnson willingly put it in place.

The Windsor Framework is the progeny of the Protocol.

It puts masking tape over trade difficulties but leaves the EU firmly in charge of Northern Ireland.

Like its parent, it must be rejected.

This is very worthwhile reading. From @MichaelWCurzon

The Windsor Framework nowhere near addresses problems created by the Protocol

There is much joy around the striking of an agreement, but how long will this last?

RT @BrugesGroup: “The UK is to use its freedom from EU membership to sidle back under EU control. It is to use its so-bitterly regained sovereign independence from vassalage to tie its own hands to its former overlords,” writes Melanie Phillips.

What about the making of and then breaching by him of the massively damaging lockdowns?

The EU has confirmed the Windsor Framework to be completely in accordance with Article 164 of the Withdrawal Agreement.

This PROHIBITS any fundamental changes to the Protocol.

⁦If you opposed the Protocol, you must oppose ⁦@RishiSunak⁩ “new” deal.

The Windsor Framework does not restore Northern Ireland to its rightful place in the United Kingdom.

“We haven’t had any scrutiny of this policy which stripped 68 million people of their civil liberties, damaged the economy… allowed people to die on their own.”

Ben Habib boosted

I find it incredibly ironic that two unelected leaders are trying to force through constitutional change on a sovereign democratic country by hoodwinking the public into believing this Windsor framework is a good deal for the UK. It’s now clear it isn’t. This smells of betrayal.

The truth about the Windsor Framework is being revealed. It does not match the spin and bluster of two days ago.

This is yet another very bad deal being dressed up by @Conservatives as a good one.

Those of us who care about our country must stand firm against it.

"As things stand, the EU concessions over the NI Protocol do not go nearly far enough."
