Good news: The importance of youth inclusion in peace mediation is recognised and promoted in the UN Security Council’s Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security (#YPS).
Bad news: In practice the voices of the young people are still largely absent in peace agreements. 2/4

The European Union has committed to work on changing this, to develop concrete guidance on youth inclusive peace mediation and to actively engage young people in the peacebuilding processes EU is leading or supporting. 3/4
