Attended the rally in Bucharest commemorating 1 year anniversary of the brutal invasion of Ukraine. We must thank 🇺🇦 for defending our 🇪🇺 values from the front line. Ukraine must win for all of us, to show that democracy always prevails, as was written on one of the posters. 🇺🇦🇪🇺

Outrageous. Facebook censored the EU anthem in Russia and Belarus. I received a notice from FB which censored an original interpretation of the EU anthem (flashmob), which I organised in Bucharest on 9th May. This is strange and unacceptable. @Meta & @UMG care to explain?

Good discussion at the @RenewEurope @EP_Industry meeting today with Executive VP @vestager.

We need to speed up investments in EU clean industries & technology. For this to happen, strong EU level coordination, harnessing talents & skills & a balanced state aid policy are key.
