547 of us said YES to Romania and Bulgaria joining the #Schengen area, in the @europarl_en today.
The message is loud and clear: RO🇷🇴 and BG🇧🇬 citizens deserve free movement in the EU. Time for the Council to show the same level of support!
Joined today in Bucharest a protest against the draft law which tries to copy in Romania some Orban-style policies on the prohibition of the so-called “LGBT propaganda”. Freedom of speech & human rights are core 🇪🇺 values.
A picture is worth a thousand words and the exhibition organised by my colleague @RamonaStrugariu at the @europarl shows it very well: the pain, the fear, the suffering & the solidarity between Ukranians and other Europeans.

We talked about #energy prices, the #CyberResilience Act as well as the #Chips Act, all crucial in ensuring EU's resilience and strategic autonomy.
I notified the @EUProsecutor reg. a possible bid rigging case in Romania involving police car acquisitions & EU funds. Technical requirements were so detailed that only one car manufacturer qualified for the bid. This raises #fraud suspicions & calls for a thorough investigation.
