Prije povratka u Bruxelles, u Chicagu sam u društvu generalne konzulice Sanje Laković sudjelovala na svečanom misnom slavlju u hrvatskoj župi sv. Jeronima, a potom sam se susrela s našom hrvatskom zajednicom.

After a week of meetings in Washington DC, I look back at great conversations with legislators, diplomats, think tanks and other interested parties in the US. The transatlantic unity has grown over the last weeks, a development that we nurture.
Having arrived in #Chicago, I visited the #Meštrović monuments, a set of emblematic and beautiful sculptures. #Culture connects 🇪🇺 and 🇺🇸.
Good meeting with Representatives @cathymcmorris, @DebbieLesko and @RepJeffDuncan to discuss energy security in Europe and their take on 🇺🇸 LNG supply.
Zadovoljstvo mi je bilo u @europarl_en ugostiti mlade iz Nadbiskupijskog centra za mlade "Ivan Pavao II" iz Bosne i Hercegovine.
Ovom posjetom su dobili neposredan uvid u @europarl_en, moje svakodnevne aktivnosti i proceduru stvaranja i donošenja propisa na 🇪🇺 razini.

Insightful meeting with @JeffRathke of @AICGS this morning. Good to discuss their American perspectives on European policies such as energy diversification, enlargement and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

It was great to meet with 🇺🇸Congressman @RepCohen. We discussed the current challenges in the 🇪🇺 and its neighbourhood and we looked ahead to the upcoming Transatlantic Legislators Dialogue in Paris.
🇪🇺🇺🇸 - I met with Senators @SteveDaines and @SenRonJohnson to discuss strengthening our transatlantic ties. It was great to hear their interest in Europe, especially given the current security situation.
