Since the accession, the Commission has worked with Romania under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism #CVM to advance reforms in judiciary & fight against corruption.
I am pleased that today’s report concludes that 🇷🇴 has satisfactorily met the CVM benchmarks. (1/2)

👏 @europarl_en has formally adopted the new EU law on gender balance on corporate boards. This is a long-awaited breakthrough in #genderequality.
There are plenty of women qualified for top jobs and with our new law, we will make sure that they have a real chance to get them.
