Tonight, exactly 5 years after @EU_Commission tabled its proposal for a revision of the EU fisheries control system, we have reached a political agreement with @EUCouncil & @europarl_en.

Its future will be modern, digital & will ensure a level playing field for our fishers!

At #AGRIFISH for a core #CircularEconomy initiative to tackle wasteful packaging & boost new business models.

Packaging waste increased 20% and reached close to 80 million tons in 2020.

This proposal will have real impact & ensure our food is safe & waste is less!
