RT @PaulEmbery: Halifax seems to have had a Ratner moment. Serves them right. If you peddle a fringe ideology and then publicly rebuke customers who don't agree with it, you deserve everything you get. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1

@MariaBlower @mara_yamauchi @BritishCycling @UCI_cycling This is so wrong. My daughter loves running & cycling. She is competitive. But how in good conscience can I suggest she competes in @BritishCycling when will deliberately placed against biological men with inherent physical advantages? They don't change so don't compete.

We should have public disclosure of the dangerous discriminatory and divisive individuals/civil sevants promoting this hatred.
RT @joannaccherry: I’m not surprised to hear that Scottish Government insiders have attempted to distance the devolved administration from this. They should do so. This is an absolute disgrace. Misogynist. Lesbophobic & an affront to the law. Disgraceful. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/

@MichelleDewbs @oflynnsocial @DavidDavisMP More proof if needed that govt policy on tagging is needed. If they abscond how do they earn money for housing, food etc. In the illegal economy or what if they have more dangerous plans? @CMEPUK1

RT @TalkTV: Asylum applications have hit a 20-year high of more than 60,000 in the past year.

Political commentator Steven Woolfe says the Home Office is "certainly not fit for purpose when it's dealing with asylum".

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS Thank you Shoaib. Nice discussion, but I know what trafficking is and smuggling. I also understand the areas where interaction of both are increasingly and the use of language by ordinary people and common parlance. I will use both & describe gangsters actions as I see fit.

RT @SailFreeUK: @GoodwinMJ Effect of Mass immigration on England
26% = Area of England destroyed by "Urban Intrusion" by early 1960's
50% = Area of England destroyed by "Urban Intrusion" by 2007
100% = Area of England destroyed by "Urban Intrusion" by end of this century.

Mass immigration must end.

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS I'm afraid it's not entirely wrong though is it. We know that on the Mexican/US border the entire smuggling routes have been taken over by trafficking. Ie threats of payments by family members is routine. Also the African/Libyan routes have the same model not Turkish routes yet

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/Steven_Woolfe/status

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS Common parlance eg drug trafficking, use by politicians/people also plays a part. People understand that People Traffickers in the context of Channel Migrants means the illegal movement of people across borders by gangs for payment. Perhaps you may not understand that point.

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS Whilst you have a point that Human Trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for profit (UN defn) & Human Smuggling/Smugglers can be more accurate.

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS It's a 7 billion dollar industry. For example this report (one of several) highlights numbers and amounts made by trafficking gangs.

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS It's not confusing to understand that the phrase "trafficking" covers the range of activities from illicit movement such as sex trafficking to people smugglers arranging routes from say Afghanistan to UK.
Traffickers bring their clients to the UK for payment that's obvious.

@GBNEWS The new legislation on charges for drivers of Channel boats will fail of ee simply take the migrants from French vessels.

RT @GBNEWS: 'We really need to get those planes deporting migrants to Rwanda to have any major impact.'

@Steven_Woolfe explains why he thinks plans to give those piloting the dinghies crossing the Channel life sentences will 'fail' and how people traffickers evade being identified.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/Steven_Woolfe/status

@ShoaibMKhan @GBNEWS People Traffickers are in the game of "trafficking" people from A to the UK. The Channel crossings are a route used to traffick people. Those people in the ribs/boats are subject to the legislation ie driver. The other passengers are subject to assessment for Rwanda.
