I welcome the decision to lift import restrictions for food from Fukushima during today’s EU-Japan Summit.
It is the result of strong cooperation with 🇯🇵 authorities over several years and ensures that the high food safety standards in 🇪🇺 continue to be protected.

together with Deputy Prime Minister @chrisfearne.
