RT by @Michael_Heaver: The Met’s plea to the organisers of the protest is pathetic.

The slap in the face that the Met received in response shows the type of people they are dealing with. What makes the police think that people who organise protests featuring genocidal chants, antisemitic banners and barely disguised sympathy for terrorists would forgo the opportunity for another march that intimidates Jews?

The absurd politeness of the Met’s request and its attempt not to simply use its legal powers to ban the march under section 13 of the Public Order Act represents an extraordinary lapse, and shows that the force is deaf to the call of the hour: the march must be banned.
