We welcome the @EUCouncil's adoption of our proposal to include a #REPowerEU chapter into national recovery plans.
EU countries will now be able to fund key energy investments and reform through #NextGenerationEU.
This is another important step for our energy security.

The investments funded by #NextGenerationEU could boost the EU’s GDP by around 1.5% in 2024 and further stimulate job creation.

To grow, our net-zero industries need the right framework. It has to be simpler and more predictable.
We will therefore propose a Net-Zero Industry Act.
It will focus on key technologies for the shift to net zero, speed up permitting and incentivise multi-country projects.
