In March @EU_Commission adopted a revision of the #ElectricityMarketDesign, together with a recommendation on #energystorage, which is key to achieve #RepowerEU targets on #renewables & #hydrogen.
Today I had a timely debate with the EP on the importance of storage & next steps.

Energy storage is central for the #cleanenergytransition. We must double down on integrating new renewable generation into the grid.
For that we need flexibility & storage solutions to develop at greater pace & scale.
With our latest initiatives, we set the ball rolling.
