RT @AuschwitzMuseum: 9 April 1938 | Jewish twin girls Annette & Paulette Szklarz were born in #Metz.

On 31 July 1944 Annette was deported from #Drancy to #Auschwitz & murdered in a gas chamber. Paulette was in the hospital with measles & survived hidden by doctors.
Paulette is @debra_author mother.
