Last Thursday in the aftermath of the #EarthquakeTurkeySyria, I visited Gaziantep.
The death toll and the scale of destruction we know about so far is without precedent in recent times.
The 🇪🇺 is determined to support the affected populations of 🇹🇷 and 🇸🇾.

We will continue to mobilise substantial assistance for the people of 🇹🇷 and 🇸🇾 via the #EUnionCivilProtectionMechanism and the deployment of the 🇪🇺 Humanitarian Response Capacity.
And we will ensure that this aid is delivered rapidly and to all the people affected in 🇸🇾.
