Anja was in an abusive relationship. She had an unwanted pregnancy.

Dehydrated, starving & constantly vomiting Anja spent a week in hospital against her will. (2/6)

Doctors were concerned about her physical & psychological state.

But no one asked if she wanted to be pregnant.

Desperate, Anja contacted the Abortion Dream Team.

Justyna sent her abortion pills, but when Anja’s partner found them he reported Justyna to the police. (3/6)

The opportunity to have a safe abortion was taken from her.

Anja resorted to the “methods of our grandmothers.”
Scared & alone, she used a catheter to terminate the pregnancy. She bled heavily and developed sepsis.
