Today we mobilise €718.48 million from the European Union Solidarity Fund #EUSF for the regions hit by natural disasters in 2021.
Be it flooding in 🇩🇪🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺🇦🇹, volcano eruption in 🇪🇸 or earthquake in 🇬🇷.
This is 🇪🇺 solidarity.

The recurrence & intensity of these events is getting stronger & the means available do not match the scale of catastrophes.
We need a collective reflection on how #EUSF can continue to provide support wherever and whenever is needed.
