In 2022, the EU allocated €170 million in humanitarian aid for those affected by the conflict in Yemen. It is the largest annual allocation to the Yemen crisis since the start of the conflict.
Since the beginning of the war in 2015, the EU has contributed over €1.2 billion to respond to the crisis in Yemen. This includes €862 million in humanitarian aid and €407 million in development assistance. @EU_ECHO @JanezLenarcic
Our assistance includes food, health care, education, water, and shelter. It also covers improved hygiene services to displaced populations and conflict-affected areas as well as areas with high food insecurity and malnutrition @EU_ECHO
