In 2022, the #EUBudget continued to invest in Europe's strategic autonomy:
We proposed the #EUChipsAct which will mobilise more than €43 bn euros of public and private investments to double the EU’s current market share in semiconductors to 20% globally.

🛡️ The #EUbudget will also contribute €500 million from 2022 to 2024 to reinforce the European defence industry through common procuremens.
