You can actually register your tree !
To put this into perspective, when helping natural regenerations in forests, one would plant in a 3x3m grid, resulting in about 1000 seedlings per hectare, thus 1 Billion seedlings planted could redult in an increase of forested area of 1Mio ha. The EU has 160Mio ha of forest, so that's an increase of 0.6%. Does not sound much. But its a forest of 10000km2, thus a square of 100km!
