🗨️Each second, goods with a value of about €241 000 cross EU’s external customs. The AEO program is the stamp of trust for reliable traders, but needs to be managed better. We expect @EU_Commission to take our recommendations in its proposal for reforming the Union Customs Code.

🤝Trusted traders with the EU customs programme handle more than 80 % of EU exports, and around three quarters of imports.

Auditors found that although the programme itself is solid, EU countries do not grant all those traders full benefits, or do so unevenly.

The 🇪🇺’s €90 million preparatory action on defence research was only partially useful in priming EU for ramping up its defence spending.

Although @EU_Commission & @EUDefenceAgency gained useful lessons on cooperative research projects, the EU still lacks a long-term strategy.

In this audit, we reviewed the strategies and approaches for the digitalisation of schools in six member states.

👉In addition, we examined a sample of 61 projects that have been or will be financed from the ERDF, the ESF, the RRF and the Erasmus+ programme.

The EU’s funding to support efforts towards improving the #digitalisation of #schools has not had its full impact, according to our last report. 📲💻

📝This is due in particular to a lack of strategic focus of member states in using this 🇪🇺financing.
