#Mpox has once again been declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
At this time, the WHO African Region remains the most affected, with worrying developments in the evolution and spread of the disease.
But we live in an interconnected world where pathogens can be swiftly transmitted far and wide.
We at @WHO_Europe are committed to supporting our 53 Member States, as well as our colleagues at @WHOAFRO and the @AfricaCDC under the leadership of Dr @JeanKaseya2 - to help control and prevent local, national & global transmission.
