@ECDC_EU Emergence of new viral outbreaks across the globe will end when we pass the minimum of solar activity in the Gleissberg cycle just like the previous global pandemic, about 10 years. COVID could end when we pass the maximum in the solar cycle 25, about 3 years. Most likely it will revert to a series of previously known variants.
