Today marks 31 years since Giovanni Falcone's assassination. His murder was an unambiguous message, that anyone challenging the Mafia's grip on power should be petrified.

If we don't fight the Mafia, it grows. Falcone's legacy remains a lesson for those who care about justice.

Joseph Muscat led Malta into the largest fraud in our history. After he was removed from power, he made €482,000 consulting those who defrauded the Maltese through a deal he and his friends pushed for whilst in power.

It took almost 4 years to convict three thugs who illegally held journalists against their will in the Office of the Prime Minister, no less.

In the #EPlenary we confirmed our @EPPGroup led deal on the #SocialClimateFund with a large majority. This decision is good news for our climate and for citizens. With a fund of €86.7 billion, it will ensure a fair and socially inclusive climate transition for all Europeans.
