Why no wealth tax Chancellor?
This cd raise at least £70bn from richest 1%. Silence on bankers bonuses too - presumably not keen to highlight he’s sticking with plans to lift the cap. This Govt remains far more interested in rewarding rich than ending inequality #AutumnStatement

I guess that’s the way their backers want it.

Moreover he cut the surcharge on bankers profits from 8% to jus 3%.
