In the wake of the UK's withdrawal from the EU, the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) has provided critical information to the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) regarding existing titles in the UK.

🌱To clarify, varieties with EU Plant Variety Rights granted by the CPVO and valid until December 31, 2020, will continue to enjoy protection under UK legislation throughout their remaining lifespan. These are termed as 'Retained EU Plant Variety Rights.'
