The new screening procedure ensures that we always know who is entering the EU. At the same time, the extended fundamental rights monitoring mechanism is a clear signal from @europarl_en to address human rights violations at our external borders and to uphold fundamental rights.

The @EU_Commission and I are on the same page: @sweden2023eu is preventing progress on ePrivacy! It is the only legislation protecting confidentiality of communication and should have been finalised years ago.
