@BillyKelleherEU and I could not vote in favour of the resolution on the conflict in Gaza due to the inclusion of conditionality clauses by the @EPP re a permanent ceasefire in #Gaza.

Other progressive amendments were also defeated - this does not reflect our views nor those of the Irish people.

No conditionality should be attached to a ceasefire - the people of Gaza need a ceasefire now #CeasefireNOW.

Israel cannot continue the bombardment of innocent civilians in Palestine. The EU cannot stand by.

We really need to reevaluate our carbon free energy policy.
We have no definite plans on wind energy storage and conversion.
Hydrogen will form a important part of our transition and we have to plan now.
