Today a new report of the Belgian Coordination Unit for Threat Analysis speaks of an "increase in anti-Semitism" in Belgium that moved from online to the streets. This reflects testimonies of Jews who worry about the hatred and threats they face in Europe.

Sometimes we all see how some people are quicker to worry about an old book or statue that they think projects historical racism, instead of really worrying about the real violence taking place today on our doorsteps, such as anti-Semitism and radical Islam.
And they also prefer everyone to remain silent and not denounce their attitudes. But if we do not honestly discuss the problems in our societies, we cannot solve them in concrete terms either.
I think it is important to keep raising this issue. To work for change.
