The EU produces just 10% of the world's #chips. TSMC as the market leader invests 100bln USD in the next 3 yrs, South Korea 450bln in 9 yrs. The EU's #ChipsAct aims to mobilise 43 bln EUR, of which 3.3 from our budget. We need to do a lot more to catch up with the tech leaders.
