The craven attitude of FIFA towards LGBT+ people is nauseating to watch.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 players and fans doing us proud on and off the pitch.

They are being let down by this awful display.

Great commentary from @alexscott yesterday and a powerful stand for LGBT+ rights. Both the players and the fans should never have been put in this position.

Was great to be out on the today in Rose Hill with ⁦@OxUniLabour⁩, ⁦@isabsimpson⁩, and some of our excellent local Labour councillors.

We heard repeated concerns about the cost of living and NHS crises.

Thanks to all who opened their doors to us 🌹

All strands of hate crime have shot up since 2012:

⬆️206%-race
⬆️455%-religion
⬆️513%-sexuality
⬆️674%-disability
⬆️1106%-trans

Violent hate crime has also risen six-fold.

Criminals have never had it so good as under the soft-on-crime Conservatives. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tor

Hate crimes reported against trans people rose by 56% last year - and soared by 1106% since 2012.

Labour will tackle this rising hate by ensuring those who commit anti-LGBT+ hate crimes get longer sentences.

Today is Equal Pay Day, the day women effectively stop earning compared with men.

While the Conservatives leave women worse off, Labour is working with businesses and trade unions to develop a plan to close this gap and treat everyone fairly.

Women are:

❌ £574 a year worse off than in 2010
❌ Paying £605m more in tax until 2028
❌ Facing house prices 12 times their average pay

The Conservatives crashed the economy. Now they’re pinching women’s pockets.

Labour will deliver a fairer future.

Fantastic to join @fawcettsociety today to talk about how to build a feminist recovery & a feminist government on .

As the first ever @UKLabour Secretary of State for Women & Equalities I will put women's equality at the heart of govt.

Women can’t wait any longer.

The cruel and ignorant Section 28 was repealed 19 years ago today by @UKLabour.

Even now, the Conservatives are still failing LGBT+ people: on Monkeypox, on 'conversion therapy', and on keeping people safe from hate crime.

Labour will deliver for all.

RT @RachelReevesMP: All they offer is more of the same.

Labour knows there are fairer choices to make.

And that what we need is a serious long-term plan to get our economy growing - powered by the talents and efforts of millions of working people and thousands of businesses.

RT @RachelReevesMP: Britain is a great country, with fantastic strengths.

But, because of 12 years of Tory government, we are being held back.

What people will be asking themselves today is this: am I and my family better off with the Tories?

The answer is no.

I’ve written to @nadhimzahawi demanding answers on this and any other shady deals.

We have a Home Secretary who was sacked for security breaches. How many other potential security risks are sitting on the Government benches?

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/AnnelieseDodds/statu

It’s a security risk to have an unknown number of Conservative MPs potentially in debt to the Party or its donors.

The public have a right to know how many MPs have this sort of arrangement, and what sort of control is being exerted.
