A thread on the recent Bridge of Allan Post Office closure. My door remains open to anyone with ideas on how local postal provision could be restored, to this community and many others across the Stirling area.

Ultimately, closures are the inevitable consequence of the privatisation and commercialisation of what should be public services, in whole or by stealth, by successive UK Governments.

From banks to post offices, closures shouldn't risk alienating citizens from key services.
